CFC Mentorship Program
The Center for Faith and Culture is beginning the application process for the 2010-2011 Mentorship Program. The Mentorship Program at the CFC is designed to mentor a small cadre of students interested in thinking critically about crucial cultural issues in light of biblical Christianity. The format will examine different areas of culture in order to identify basic assumptions, beliefs, and values that give shape to the prevailing ideas and practices of Western culture. The end point is to think about how evangelical Christianity might respond in a constructive, but corrective fashion. The group will meet once or twice a month for thought-provoking discussions which will involve certain pre-meeting assignments. These assignments may include short selected readings, questions for discussion and/or selected subjects for research.
The group will begin meeting the first part of September 2010. The deadline for application is April 20, 2010. Please visit www.sebts.edu/faithandculture/resources/enrichment.aspx for further details about how to apply.
