On Friday, September 7 at 7:00 p.m., in the CFC seminar room NC Supreme Court Justice Paul Newby will discuss a citizen’s responsibility in a Constitutional Republic and look particularly at the role of religious speech in the public square. Justice Newby will investigate and compare religious speech and political speech through the lens of constitutional law, public perception, and the intent of the constitutional framers. The lecture will be followed by question and answer time.
