Monday, October 12th is Thank a Donor Day here at Southeastern! We are excited to have our Trustees and Southeastern Society (SES) on campus for a few days and are very thankful for their leadership and generous support. During this day we have multiple ways for you to express your thanks to our donors. They would love to see how their giving supports your going.

Here are a few ways to express your thanks:

Thank them in person.

1) Come to the campus-wide cookout at 5:00pm on the evening of October 12th! Look for individuals wearing SES or Trustee name tags and take a moment to thank them for their time, leadership and financial support.

Thank them through writing.

2) Write a ‘thank you’ card for them. There will be a basket to collect notes located in the Center for Great Commission Studies, with blank cards available for your use.

Thank them publicly.

3) Participate in our social media contest. Take a picture of your favorite place on campus and tweet or Instagram it telling us what you love about Southeastern with the hashtags #becauseyougive and #iamgoing. The grand prize for the most creative tweet is lunch for you and two friends with Dr. Akin! Three honorable mentions will be awarded, prizes include gift cards to The Locker, LifeWay, and The Court.

October 12th will be a day when all of the Southeastern Family gathers together to be encouraged with fellowship and thankfulness for the way God has provided for our school and your education. Indeed because He has given to us through the Southeastern Society, we go.
