Military Affairs at Southeastern
Southeastern is honored to assist those who have served or are currently serving our country. We aim to be a place where our service men and women can feel welcomed and accepted, challenged both academically and spiritually and be equipped to serve the Lord with their talents. Our desire as Military Affairs is to facilitate your education, support and serve you. Our hope is to see our service members thrive during their time at Southeastern as they prepare for ministry in God’s kingdom.
Currently, the Office of Military Affairs at Southeastern processes both state and federal level VA Benefits including but not limited to: Post 9/11, Montgomery GI Bill, Vocational Rehabilitation, NC TAP. This is NOT an exhaustive list as we process a variety of other benefits.
Military Affairs also offers a Military Rate, or military discount, on tuition. This discount is a 50% discount off of tuition and fees. The Military Rate cannot be added to the SBC scholarship.
We desire to be a resource for all of our prior and current service members. In an effort to see that desire become a reality, we are in the midst of building connections with chaplaincy students to build a community of people who can co-labor with one another in their time at Southeastern. We also want to connect prior service Veterans and future service members to create a close military community. We are actively identifying ways to improve service to our military-related students.
We invite you to stop by our office in Ledford Center, suite 103 with any questions, concerns or suggestions you may have! Please contact us at militaryaffairs@sebts.edu or 919-761-2363 with questions about other scholarships, grants, military-related financial aid or suggestions as to how we can better serve you.
