Are you interested in knowing the Old Testament better as the word of God? If so, you will want to join us on Wednesday, May 3, from 3-5 PM in the CFC Conference Room on the 2nd floor of Patterson Hall. We are holding our second annual MAOT thesis presentation. This year will include a few twists, however.

We will begin with a faculty forum in which members of the OT faculty will discuss their latest work and answer the question, “Why is the academic study of the Old Testament important?” This will be a great opportunity for you to meet the various faculty members. Next, we will have a paper read by one of our PhD students in Old Testament, Drew Grumbles. He will be exploring an important theme related to Ezekiel’s temple vision. Finally, we have one graduate in our MAOT program this year who will be presenting a synopsis of his thesis concerning Joshua and the battle of Jericho in the Hebrew and Greek versions of the OT.

What could be better than that? How about homemade desserts from the OT faculty! Come enjoy the fellowship, food, and the time in the Word!
