Secret Church
Date: Friday, April 17
Time: 7:00pm – 1:00am
Location: Carson Hall 223 — Center for Faith and Culture
Experience a powerful night of worship, teaching, and prayer from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Secret Church is an extended gathering designed to reflect what it’s like to follow Christ in parts of the world where faith comes at a cost — setting aside comfort to go deep into God’s Word. This year, we’ll come together to watch teaching from David Platt as he walks through the life of Elijah, a prophet marked by bold faith, courageous obedience, and unwavering trust in God during times of spiritual darkness and cultural opposition. Throughout the night, we’ll explore what Elijah’s story teaches us about deep, persistent prayer, total dependence on God, and standing firm when our faith is tested. But Secret Church is more than a Bible study — it’s a call to action, designed to equip and mobilize the global church to live boldly for Christ in the hardest-to-reach places. This year’s teaching will also highlight real stories of gospel advancement in Nepal, bringing together the truth of Scripture and the urgency of mission in a powerful way. Come ready to seek God, be challenged, and be sent.
