Köstenberger becomes new director at B&H
Andreas J. Köstenberger, director of Ph.D. studies and professor at Southeastern, has recently taken on a new role at B&H Publishing Group, the publishing branch of LifeWay Christian Resources.
Köstenberger will be the director of acquisitions for B&H’s academic program. In this new role, he will be helping to acquire significant authors to publish materials that will help equip the next generation of church leaders.
Southeastern president Daniel Akin said, “Andreas Köstenberger is one of evangelicalism’s finest New Testament scholars and a gift to our seminary. We are delighted to share this gifted academician with co-laborers in the gospel. This is a good thing for the work of the kingdom and the building up of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Köstenberger looks forward to the future of B&H as he recognizes the unique opportunity for the publishing company to stand strongly on a foundation of excellence as other publishing companies move to the left. In addition to his work at Southeastern and his upcoming work with B&H, Köstenberger is also the author, editor and translator of more than 20 books. Köstenberger will begin his work with B&H on Sept. 1.
