Kaiser teaches on unity found within Scripture
As part of the annual Page Lecture series at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Walter Kaiser spoke on the topic of unity – both within the Bible and in the body of Christ – during two lectures on October 19 and 20.
Kaiser, President Emeritus and Distinguished Professor of Old Testament and Ethics at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, spoke on the unity of the Bible during his Tuesday lecture, teaching on the unity of the story found within both testaments. The story of God’s redemptive plan for all mankind is the subject and thrust of both the Old and New Testaments, he said. During Wednesday’s lecture, he spoke on the unity of the people of God, showing how both Jew and Gentile alike are called the people of God throughout the Bible.
