Southeastern professor Dr. Matthew Mullins invites you to attend a guest lecture by Dr. Sheila Smith McKoy on Tuesday, March 26th from 12:30-3:20 in Appleby 102 on the topic of race and ethnicity. The lecture is open to the general public.

Dr. Sheila Smith McKoy is the director of Africana Studies Program at N.C. State University. She holds a BA from N.C. State University, an MA from UNC Chapel Hill, and Ph.D. from Duke University. She is the editor of Obsidian: Literature in the African Diaspora. She is also an author, poet, filmmaker, and speaker.
