Southeastern at the SBC
Every year, SEBTS hosts a variety of events at the Southern Baptist Convention, taking place on June 13-14 this year, including a couple events that can be used for class credit. Consider joining us for one of the events below.
Alumni Luncheon
Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary will host its annual alumni and friends luncheon on June 14, 2017, where we will hear from alumni and students in our Southeastern family as they share about the rich diversity of the Kingdom of God and the global impact of the Great Commission church.
Women’s Leadership Breakfast
Ladies! Join us for breakfast and a time of encouragement. This year’s speaker will be Kelly King, Women’s Ministry Specialist at LifeWay Christian Resources. Kelly will be speaking on “Leading in Times of Transition.”
SBC Conference Class
Need another history elective? Join us for the SBC conference class taught by Dr. Brent Aucoin and Amy Whitfield. Learn more about the history, structure and work of the SBC. Register for HIS6811 for seminary and HIS2611 for college. Then, register to attend the SBC. In addition, if you participate in the course, your tuition will be free! You can earn 3 credit hours for this course.
Crossover
Every year, Southern Baptist seminaries and NAMB partner to share the gospel with as many people as possible in the city that will host the Southern Baptist Convention. Southeastern will be taking a team, and you can earn 3 credit hours for participating. Crossover will take place June 6-11 leading up to the convention, and the $200 includes airfare for Phoenix.
