Performing Arts Club | Student Activity Group

The Performing Arts Club sets out to make art in a Christ-like way. PAC’s debut performance was Trifles by Susan Glaspell in the spring of 2016. We have been making shows since and striving for excellence in the process. The apostle Paul exhorts believers to excel in everything (2 Cor. 8:7) and the standard of excellence applies to art as well. Christians should make great entertainment because humans are storytellers by nature. PAC is full of hard working performers that want to entertain and challenge thinking.

Once a semester PAC performs a stage play. Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester for a show. We require two one-minute monologues for audition—one serious, one comedic. If interested in doing a show expect to memorize lines and work hard. But know the process is a lot of fun and very fulfilling. I have had a blast working with the director and actors in PAC. Some of my best memories in college I know will be thanks to this group.

We hope to see you soon whether as an actor or as an audience member.
