Spring 2021 Baccalaureate Colloquium
College at Southeastern juniors and seniors are encouraged to participate in this year’s Baccalaureate Colloquium, the College’s annual research writing contest.
Juniors and seniors can enter one 8–10 page research paper that argues a thesis, shows academic research, and is written for a class at C@SE anytime during 2020–2021 to win a monetary prize. First place prize is $500, second place $250, and third place $150. Submission deadline is Friday, April 30, 2021. Papers must be submitted to the in-box at The Writing Center Quizzes site (CampusNet > Writing Center > Quizzes). The presentation and award event, recognizing the top three research essays, will be held Friday, May 7 at 7:00 p.m. in Appleby Chapel.
The Baccalaureate Colloquium encourages excellence in reading, writing, and research with a distinctly Christian perspective in a friendly college contest that recognizes and awards excellent work, soli Deo gloria.
